Poseid is located south of the greek city state of Athens. Poseid is located at this precise location because of its easy accesabliaty to the Mediteranian Sea and due to thae fact that it is right ontop of a deposit of silver. The easy acesabilaty to ports and silver made Poseid a hub for trading with places such as Egypt, Persia, other City states in Greece and countrys all around the Medditeranian. Poseid is located just south of mountainus terrain that seperated them and Athens. This was a benifecial factor because of water runoff from the mountains provided water for the city state and maid for good soil. Poseid is named after the god Poseiden. Poseiden was the god of the
