Poseid was a city-state based mainly on agriculture and trading. It was open to trade with any other city-state in Greece. Poseid's main export was olive oil, grapes, wine and silver. They would trade for goods that they couldn’t produce themselves. The city-state of Poseid was allies with Athens, they traded very often because of having such a great relationship and being not to far location whise. Poseids trade with other city-states was not as lucrative as the trade with surrounding countries because most city-states had the same recources as Posied, besides silver. Silver was scarce in the city-states surrounding Poseid which made it more avaliable.
